Karen and I have been married for 36 years.  We are both pharmacists.  We have 2 children.  Our daughter Amy is married and is a speech therapist in Monroe.  Our son Christopher is an actuary in Dallas and is engaged to be married 3/28/20.

A little history::  In 2014, Chris won the junior USP Powerlifting Nationalship in Aurora, CO in his weightclass.  After winning that, he was invited to Moose Jaw Saskatchewan, Canada to represent the United States in the 2015 North America Powerlifting Championships.  There he recieved a silver metal in his weight class.

Some of yall heard who has facebook that i had surgery on 7/10 and was only suppose to be in the hospital for 3 days but it ended up being a total of 16 days. I am currently in a neck brace and using a walker to help me get around but hopefully by the time the reunion gets here I will be alot better.   Next is a post from my daughter Amy on facebook on 7/25 >>> Today is a good day because my dad is being discharged from the hospital after a long 2 weeks of rehab and an intensive major surgery. He still has a long way to go with his PT, OT, and ST therapy, but I know my dad can do it with his faith! I’m tearing up typing this..... on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 around 5:00 pm, we almost lost my daddy for good. His heart stopped and his airway closed up and we lost him for approximately 10 minutes. He coded and was brought back to life. I will never forget that phone call from my mom crying on the phone giving us the terrible news. My dad was basically given a second chance at life. My dad is one of the most Christian-like people I know and I believe God brought him back to keep spreading the word of the Lord. I feel so appreciative that I get to continue to see my dad in earthly form and I thank God so much for bringing my dad back. I feel so lucky....I love you so much Dad and as my dad always says, “God is in complete control!”

In closing as a reminder to everyone, GOD IS GREAT AND HE IS IN TOTAL CONTROL.
